About Me

Cara Burnidge is assistant professor of religion in the Department of Philosophy & World Religions at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She specializes in the history of religion in the United States with special attention to US foreign relations, empire, and national identity. In addition to teaching and research, Professor Burnidge edits Religion in American History. In 2015, she was selected as a Young Scholar of American Religion.
