I am a PhD student at Florida State University studying modern Europe with a focus on 20th century Germany, especially during the Cold War. My interests are historical memory of World War II in East Germany versus West Germany as well as East German culture and society. I hold BAs in History and German Language from the University of Georgia, and my MA in European History from Florida State University.
