- About Me
Albee’s academic interests include the use of media and audiovisual technology as a tool to explore history, cultural identity, and social justice within communities. Her specific focus within the archival field is preservation management of photographic and moving image resources. Her research within this field involves the collection of oral histories — particularly projects which document the relationship between archives, the moving image, and the construction of collective memory. She seeks to highlight the value and importance of archival records through collaborations with authors, artists, filmmakers, researchers, and others interested in the social and cultural aspects of community history.
