About Me

I come from a background of professional theatre and screen practice which informs the histories I research and write. I have worked as historical advisor / dramaturg with theatre companies, most recently at the RSC 2018. I have retired from full time academic work but still research active and actively connected to younger colleagues in the field. If I don’t know the field you have questions about…I will most likely know someone who does.
